Getting around: The hotel is part of the Mandalay Bay Resort complex, located at the south end of the Strip. The Las Vegas Monorail ($5) operates along the Las Vegas resort corridor connecting major resort properties and the convention center. The average speed is 16 miles per hour, or 15 minutes to complete the 4-mile run. Stations are: MGM Grand, Ballys/Paris, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrahs/Imperial, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The monorail operates from 7 AM to 2 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 3 AM on weekends. Daily, multi-day, and multi-ride passes are available.
